Locked On MLB League-Wide: Every Team, Prospects & More

As far as the 1st inning for G-rod, he said in his post game interview, he was so hyped he couldn't feel the baseball. He said once he went back into the dugout he was able to calm himself a bit and reset, and get his mind back into compete mode in the 2nd and beyond. It was obvious and to be expected. The kid was just told he's flying to debut in his home state of Texas with his family and friends all there to live out his dream. I wouldn't put much thought into the struggles of that 1st inning. For me, this next start and beyond will give us a better idea of just how good he can be moving forward. There will be some growing pains I'm sure, hopefully he settles in well and pitches to his capability quickly.
great episode as always
Congratulations Connor: Thanks for your time and a good show. Keep up the good work.
So glad Grayson had a good Debut. It's good for his confidence to move forward and take the next step. I only hope the O's don't use him like a yoyo!
I still think Krehbiel should have been called up and than Voth, leaving Greyson alone for a while to fine tune.
This podcast surpassed the subscriber count of Locked On: Yankees!
Baker had a good 1,2,3, outing.
Helps when your fastball is spot on…
If Greyson is still pitching well when Bradish comes back O's have to keep him up. So, someone is getting bumped out. O's have to win as many early games as possible before players settle in at end of the month and sporting a 500 average won't cut the mustard if O's are to have any kind of chance at a WC this yr.
O's will need the cushion to buy them time for when Means and Hall come into play sometime between next month and ASB.
First year with the podcast. Like you said first year the orioles have expectations. I haven't really watched since we made the Alcs in 2014. But I love our lineup. And we still have talent in the minors ❤
I think we should keep Grayson up, make Tyler wells the long man in the bullpen, and dfa voth.
Connor, can you admit now that Elias was NOT manipulating Rodriguez's service time by initially sending him down at the beginning of the season?
I remember Baker hitting 100 a few times in September
I was an advocate for giving him a month in Norfolk to build up some momentum and correct the command of his secondary pitches, but after seeing his determination yesterday, now that he's here, I think the Orioles should find a way to keep him here and keep starting him. In the long run, it will be better for him if he gains the big league experience under the guidance of Chris Holt, Darren Holmes, and Adley Rutschman. If he's going to develop the way we hope he will, give him the opportunity to.
On that note, who wants to go see his Candem Yards career debut on Tuesday? 😀

hot take Heston kjerstad could be top 10 prospect if he doesnt get called up to the mlb team and isnt eligible for prospect list what do you think?
